The last look before you place an order
A practical checkout pause for addresses, timing, quantities, and the total.
Confirm where it is going
Check the delivery address, unit number, and map pin when one is shown. Instructions should explain the entrance or handoff clearly. Avoid including unnecessary personal details or permanent access codes in public-facing notes.
Read every item once
Look at the quantity, size, selected options, and any modifications. A dish name may sound familiar while its description differs from what you expected. Make sure drinks and sides are intentional rather than assumptions.
Notice the time and price
Read the displayed delivery estimate as an estimate, and see whether you are ordering for now or scheduling for later. Review the item subtotal, fees, taxes, tip, and final amount as displayed by the service you are using. This journal does not quote restaurant prices or promise delivery times.
Keep the receipt close
After ordering, keep the confirmation available until the handoff is complete. For a missing item or delivery problem, use the restaurant or service’s actual support channel and describe the specific issue. The useful details are the order reference, the affected item, and what arrived.
